PACKAGES START AT $520

GET FRACTIONAL ACCESS TO A START-UP PR VETERAN

Are you looking to drive awareness about your company, but can’t afford the overhead of a PR agency while a downturn looms? No problem. With some writing on my part — and a little hustle from you — we can affordably get the word out.

For a nominal fee, I can draw upon 26 years of writing experience to draft a press release that talks about what you’re doing in the most reporter-friendly way possible. I can even tell you who to share your release with or send it over the wire on your behalf.

PRESS RELEASE $520 | TARGETED LIST OF RELEVANT REPORTERS $1040 | BOTH $1560

HOW IT WORKS:

1) Choose the PR package that makes the most sense for you

2) I’ll send a meeting invite so we can discuss your news in depth

3) I’ll draft your press release and share it via Google Docs

4) I’ll provide up to two rounds of revisions

5) I’ll send your release out via the wire or tell you whom to email (additional fees required)

CHRIS BOYLES, ACCIDENTAL PR FLACK

While I started working as an ad agency copywriter in 1996, I didn’t start working in PR until 2014. That’s when my employer — a hot app development studio — became disillusioned with pricey boutique agencies. Though I was working as a content marketer at the time, I offered to try my hand at PR.

Using my well-honed storytelling skills to convey our company’s unique hooks, I ultimately drove over 60 pieces of news coverage within the first six months. Since then, I’ve helped a variety of early-stage startups attract media attention. My secret: I don’t just tell reporters what my clients want them to know, I tell reporters the things I know they’ll want to hear.
